The Hope MTB Floating Centre-Lock disc brake rotor is a high performance option designed for demanding applications. Constructed in two parts, the aluminum center provides weight savings, while the specially formulated laser-cut 410 stainless-steel braking surface can handle high temperatures without warping.
– High performance disc allows the stainless steel outer to expand separately from the center to handle high temperatures without warping
– True floating design allows 1 degree of freedom so outer is always free to expand when subjected to heat
– CNC machined aluminum center is stiff and lightweight to offer the advantages of a thicker fixed disc without the weight penalty
– Aluminum center acts as heat sink to keep disc temperatures lower for reliable braking
– Laser-cut and heat-treated 410 stainless steel braking surface provides increased life and oxidation prevention
– 1.8mm thickness (1.5mm minimum)
